A Bit About Me

Training Experience - I undertook my formal staff training qualifications during my time working for thr Civil Service. I gained my 'Associate Membership In IT Training And Development' while working as a regional staff trainer there, training staff in a variety if skills based courses such as interviewing skills and time management. I worked as a regional staff trainer for the Civil Service for 7 years

Computer Based Training Experience - I left the Civil Service and went to work for a large corporate financial services organisation called Aon Consulting as an IT Trainer. Here I trained actuaries and their admin support staff in a range of courses from introductory to advanced - primarily Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook and bespoke training workshops that I developed and delivered on request.

Computer Support - After several years, I moved on to a large commercial property management company called Nelson Bakewell - here I worked for 7 years, designing / developing web based data capture & reporting systems, providing staff training and support on those systems and managing company wide IT projects. With some colleagues, we also ran our own IT support company proving IT support a London based company called Metropolitan Safe Deposits.

As you can see, I have a wide breadth of experience in both training and IT, spanning over some 20 years, which has enabled me to develop a combination of wide ranging IT skills and commercial work experience. This makes me both an effective IT Trainer but, also equally effective at troubleshooting IT Problems and resolving them.
